Open House Cake

I made a cake for Dallin & Daniel's missionary open house last Friday! They happen to be reporting to the MTC (Missionary Training Center) on the same day (July 15th), so we planned a shared open house. For those who don't know, missionaries wear name black name tags that say their name and "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" underneath. I couldn't write out that whole thing with frosting very small, so I settled for just their names and scribbles underneath. =) The cake was devil's food cake with a chocolate whipped cream frosting with crushed up Skor bars...I'm not gonna lie, it was deeee-lish. =)

Now when it came time to dish up the cake, we thought, "Why not have the missionaries cut it up?" So it sounded HILARIOUS 'cause we were like "Alright, it's time to cut the cake!" Like at a wedding! So for silly-ness sake, they pretended to cut it together. Haha!
