Practice Pics

Katie will be taking Devin & Leslie’s wedding pictures next month so she wanted to go to the Seattle Temple (where they will be sealed) and practice taking some! We had such a blast with Auntie Katie! Here are some of my faves! (And take notefor some reason when I upload to blogger, the pictures fade and aren’t as colorful as they are on iPhoto. Grr! So really, these pictures and all others on this blog for that matter, are actually more colorful. Anyone know why it’s doing that?)

I stole a shot of the photographer! =)

Screaming Deals...

I found these baby Pumas for $4.99! Are you kidding me?! They're too big for Kristie for now, but I couldn't pass them up. I found them at my favorite consignment shop - it's the nicest one I've ever been too! What can I say, buying used is the way to go. I'm also an avid craigslist user  I’ve gotten a lot of toys for Kristie there for super cheap! Oh I love it.

Also found these for $2.99! (Unfortunately, K's feet are too chubby to wear them. Dang!! (They're definitely small enough...just too fat. lol.)

p.snow I want Pumas.

Would you like at those teeth? My goodness!

I forgot to tell you a while ago that she finally figured out how to use her sippy cup. Hallelujah!

Snoqualmie Falls

We spent a gorgeous Memorial Day in Snoqualmie Falls with Jason’s family! We first made a stop at the Northwest Railway Museum where we climbed all over trains and then boarded one with antique coaches that took us through Snoqualmie and past the Falls. It was so relaxing and fun! The car we were in was built in 1912! The town is super cute and the surroundings were absolutely gorgeous. After that we stopped at Snoqualmie Falls! We also did the 0.5 mile hike down to the bottom. I got such a good work out I had Kristie in the front carrier the whole time! Phew!

Later that night it was Becca’s birthday party. I made her the requested bunny cake and it turned out pretty cute! Blake cracked us all up when it came time for her to blow out the candles, he popped up and blew them out before she got the chance! Haha. Overall, an awesome day!

Becca's birthday cake! Sorry, it's a crappy, blurred picture.
This was right after Blake blew out her candles. Lol.

Adventures in Pots & Pans

Oh she cracks me up. Kristie can pretty much get into anything - but she still doesn't make huge messes! She'll spread her toys out on the floor, but never makes a mess of the DVDs, the books on the bookshelf, etc...fine by me! Below, I left the pots & pan drawer open to see what she would do, and she had a blast. (And still didn't make a big mess!)

(Playing with the produce that does not fit in our fridge. haha.)
