Lil' lady in red

Trying out the coat Auntie Kali got her for Christmas. Still a little big, but so darn cute!

Here's a video I took right after the pictures. Jason was sitting behind his lap top and Kristie was peeking around to see him! It was SO cute! That's the first time we've ever seen her do that! Just the fact that she understands that if she's peeks around she can see him...such a small thing, but so big! What a smart little silly goose. =)

What do you think?

I REALLY want my hair to grow out and be long. But I'm just not patient enough to wait. So I considered extensions. But they're massively expensive. (Even at cheaper places it's $150 and we can't afford that...) Plus they only last 3 ish months and I just don't want the hassle. So...I want to chop it off. Kate Gosselin style! (From Jon & Kate Plus 8.) I can't find any good pictures of her hair, so I found some pictures of a similar (but a little different) style...now of which I'm falling more in love with. This is Victoria Beckham's hair - hers is a little longer and less spiky than Kate's and I'm leaning more towards this direction...
(Only I'd be tucking the long pieces behind my ear like Kate does.)

Please tell me what you think!!

"It's a beautiful day, don't let it get away..."

And a beautiful one it was. Jason had the day off and it was sunny outside, so we went down to old town Mukilteo! So many memories there from growing up, it's ridiculous. We started off by visiting Katie's mom at Ivars where she gave us free food for lunch. (Can we say loveliest gal around?!) It was, of course, amazing. I could eat fish and chips every day for the rest of my life. Eating the food there is just perfect, 'cause you're on the waterfront, watching cars get ready to board the ferry, hearing the seagulls cry out - honestly, does it get much better than that?

After we finished there we broke out the front carrier and put Kristie in. We walked down one of the docks next to the ferry. Kristie's first time seeing the ocean and a ferry! We were quite excited for her. Then we walked down the lighthouse. Absolutely gorgeous as usual. Then we took a stroll down the beach. My heavens, we just can't explain how much we love it here. We really took for granted how beautiful it is in Mukilteo. Why would you want to move away from here? We talked and laughed about some of the memories we have on that beach. There are oh so many. Then we stopped at Woody's Market on the way back to the car. It's a quaint little place that has an ice cream shop inside, a fireplace, and a tv that constantly plays movies with a good sound system. I hadn't been there since it had been redone so it was fun!

Enjoy the pics from our fun day!

Visiting "Ona" (Katie's mom) working at Ivars! She took her right behind the counter! It was so cute. We ate lunch and had a good chat. Boy do I love her!

I just can't believe how much Kristie is growing up. Although she's not very mobile yet, she does other little things that just remind me that she's not a little baby anymore. For one, she anticipates things now! Like when I'm tickling her... she sees my hands coming at her again, and before I even tickle her she starts to crack up - or tucks her head into her chest, closes her eyes and squeals! It's so hilarious. She's also starting to put her hands up towards you if she sees you're going to pick her up, or leans toward who she wants to hold her. Woah! These little things seem SO big to us, it's crazy.

Great-Great Grandma LaPriel

Here's some more holiday pictures! On December 31st, we visited Great Grandma LaPriel (Great-Great to Kristie!) on her 95th birthday! She is from Jason's side of the family and is just the sweetest gal in the world. She does not seem 95 at all! And I absolutely love her sense of humor.

Here we all are! (Minus Jason who had to work.)
This was Christmas dinner! (Left to right: Dad, Ada, Bruce, Ann, Dave, Janelle, Emilie, Mitch, Me & Jason.) Feels good to sit at the adult table. =)
Opening some presents.
We always get a picture in front of the Duce's Christmas tree!

Brock & Kristie

Here's another little playmate of Kristie's! She met Brock in Rexburg. He moved here to Washington last summer so now they've reunited!! He's two months older than her. He crawls and pulls himself up on everything! He's going to teach Kristie how to do those things. =)

And here they are the day they met! (Kristie was a day or two old here.)

Shopping Date & Laughs

Mackenzie and I went shopping at the outlet stores in Marysville today with the babes. It was SO much fun! We also had lunch at Red Robin where I had the most amazing crispy fish sandwich. =) Here are some pics and a video of them taking a break at one of the baby stores. Too cute!

And big laughs!! She just completely brightens my day. =)
Loves the blinds.
Standing in her hamper!

Ready for a walk. haha.

Are these cute kids or what?!

These are a compilation of pictures Char and Kenz took with their cameras - I was a doof and forgot mine. Anyway, we finally got our kids together! Just so fun 'cause the three of us grew up together and all three of us had kids at the same time. Colton and Kristie were born on the same day (!!!) and Will was just born a couple weeks after. Now as soon as Char moves back here to WA (she was just here visiting for Christmas), they can all grow up together! (Wink, wink Char. haha.) We just had a blast being together! Mackenzie and Will introduced Kristie and Colton to Cheerios - that was quite eventful! And of course, Kristie was too shy to smile so excuse her seriousness. =) Enjoy! (Colton in the middle, Will on the right.)

(Look at how much more hair he has! Kristie's a little behind in that department.)

(So funny...Kristie and Colton just staring at Will crying.)
(They kept touching each other's faces! Such a crack up.)

(Oh the baby feet!)
