"It's a beautiful day, don't let it get away..."

And a beautiful one it was. Jason had the day off and it was sunny outside, so we went down to old town Mukilteo! So many memories there from growing up, it's ridiculous. We started off by visiting Katie's mom at Ivars where she gave us free food for lunch. (Can we say loveliest gal around?!) It was, of course, amazing. I could eat fish and chips every day for the rest of my life. Eating the food there is just perfect, 'cause you're on the waterfront, watching cars get ready to board the ferry, hearing the seagulls cry out - honestly, does it get much better than that?

After we finished there we broke out the front carrier and put Kristie in. We walked down one of the docks next to the ferry. Kristie's first time seeing the ocean and a ferry! We were quite excited for her. Then we walked down the lighthouse. Absolutely gorgeous as usual. Then we took a stroll down the beach. My heavens, we just can't explain how much we love it here. We really took for granted how beautiful it is in Mukilteo. Why would you want to move away from here? We talked and laughed about some of the memories we have on that beach. There are oh so many. Then we stopped at Woody's Market on the way back to the car. It's a quaint little place that has an ice cream shop inside, a fireplace, and a tv that constantly plays movies with a good sound system. I hadn't been there since it had been redone so it was fun!

Enjoy the pics from our fun day!

I love how in both of the pictures with the ice cream cone, Kristie is staring at that!! She is so cute and getting so big.

That is so funny hearing about you going as teenagers. I remember a few break ups between the two of you and then back again and then the "wait" I remember the girls going down there in High School and always being kicked out at curfew! When did you all grow up?

I love Mulkiteo. If we ever live in Washington, that's where I want to live.

I love Mukilteo on sunny days. It just sparkles. Aaron came out last December, and only saw it hung in clouds and mists. Dramatic, yes, but he doesn't believe me that there are mountains across the water.

I am SO jealous! Get me back to Washington!!!! :( :( :(

I love the pictures of Kristie looking at the ice cream, too. Did she try to eat any?

Haha Dana! Goooood times, for sure!

I know, totally cracks me up that she was staring at the ice cream. No she didn't get any. =) Poor baby. You're not supposed to give them ice cream. I think the dairy in it or something is too hard for their little stomachs to handle. She got peach puffs instead!

Laura you should definitely get your toosh here!

YOU ARE ONE HOTT MAMA! hahaha. Those pictures are super cute. The beauty of the sea shore is one that should be appreciated more often. Good work.
