Little Lady In a Pool

Dallin and I took Kristie to a swimming pool for her first time today! It was sooo fun! I had also gotten her a new bathing suit - I think she looks like a little lady in it. So cute! Anyway, she was pretty timid at first. Thank goodness there weren't very many people there or I think she would've freaked out. But the water definitely wasn't as warm as her usual baths, so she had to get used to that first. Then I tried having her float on her back...she did the funny arms-behind-her-head thing that she always does during bath time...totally cracked me up! And that's when she started smiling...probably felt familiar to her. "Oh yeah, I've been in this water stuff before! This is like a big bath tub!"

Just before we left for the pool.
"Woah Mom...what are we doing??"
Annnd, assume the position. Hah! She's so funny!

If you're wondering why we spend so much time with Dallin, it's 'cause he currently isn't working while he's waiting to go on his mission. BUT he did just get a job and starts later this week, so we're going to miss hanging out with him so much during the day!

Can we do that weekend again?

Man, what an easy-going, fun weekend. We hung out at the Duce's all day Saturday and Sunday watching General Conference, playing games and soaking up some sun in between. (The weather has been SO insanely nice!) Then we had dinner at the Frank's Sunday night and came back to our place and watched "August Rush" eating popcorn, brownies & ice cream. Mmm. Kristie got to see lots of both sets of Grandparents which is SO fun! Goodness, we love family. (All of these pictures were taken on J's phone!)

Dancing with Opa.

Loooves being on shoulders.
My FAVE.
Chillin' on the hammock.

Sitting on the new truck bed cover. =)
Driving Blake's car!
Man, this cracked me up.
Uncle/Niece time. =)

Swing Set & Sunglasses

It was SUCH a nice day outside yesterday (and today!) that we had to spend it outside in the Duce's backyard. Janelle got out the baby swing and Kristie LOVED it! She just instantly starting talking and "wooooh"-ing. Just gave me a permanent smile. And these sunglasses are just killer. (The ones Auntie Kali gave her for Christmas.) She also LOVED having those on! She hated me putting them on, but once they were in place and we were outside, she was like "OH! I can see in the sun! I love this!" It was absolutely adorable

Too cool to smile. She really was though, she sure loved having these on!
Grandma Duce love.

Man, she loved this swing!
Blake & John

Weeeeee! I love this one. =)
She was smiling so big when Uncle Dallin would push her!
Climbin' up the fort.

I think she looks so dang cute sitting in the shopping cart! (Playing with her new ball.)
Seriously could not get over how stinking cute she looks sitting in this cart. hehe. (And of course, she loved it.)
Sorry it's sideways...tilt your head.

"Baby face...I've got the cutest little baby face..."

How could I ever say "no" to this face?
Shirt Auntie Kali got her awhile ago.
"I'd rather stand than sit."
Must've had a good nap!

If you look closely you can see her two huge top teeth coming in! (Click to enlarge...)
Can't get enough of these cute feet.(Especially poppin' out of these cute jeans.)
(There's those new top teeth again.)
I lay her down to wash her hair and she still poses! (This was from J's phone, so not great quality...)Click to enlarge and see her teeth!
Just for fun. Nothing exciting - she's just cute to watch. =)

New Toy

I found this at a consignment store for cheap. Woohoo!

Whenever she stands now, her legs get farther and farther apart, until she gets stuck! It's so cute.
"Uh, a little help please?"

A Crib Thing

Well, she's learned to pull up! Unfortunately, she does it more in her crib than anywhere else. This is how she was when I went in to get her from both naps today! What a silly goose. This time, she was standing like this, legs far apart, trying to reach down and get her pacifier. She couldn't reach it, so she was crying really hard. Poor thing!

Big People Food

I haven't been too adventurous in giving Kristie our food to eat, but I finally shared our dinner with her! She wouldn't touch it at first, so I put some in her mouth for her. Then she was like "Oh, this stuff is good!" and grabbed the rest, one handful at a time. So cute. (This was spaghetti.)
