"Diagnosis: Well Baby"

Kristie is two months old today!! Holy cow. Her appointment went really well. She is 13 pounds and 22 3/4 inches long. Holy cow again. She is absolutely perfect in every way. The doctor told us that the diagnosis is that she is a well baby. It was so cute to see her interact with the doctor. Right when he started to check her, she grabbed his stethescope and wouldn't let go! And she was babbling back to him when he was talking to her. It was absolutely adorable. I kept thinking..."Aw, that's my daughter." The hardest part of the appointment was the immunizations. Ahhh! She first had an oral one, which must've tasted disgusting. But she muscled it down. Then she had three shots, all at once. Oh my heavens - I've never seen her cry like that. And I don't blame her. I can hardly stand one shot alone. I cried after the nurses left the room. If Jason wasn't there I probably would've sat there for another half an hour crying with her. It was SO hard to watch that. In the picture below you can see the bandaids on her legs. Two on one, one on the other. Awwww my poor Kristie cakes.

Mommy foot, daughter foot.

Does Kristie suck on her hands a lot? Colton does it all the time! He even tries to suck on his hands through his shirts, the crazy baby. Colton has to get his shots today, I am already feeling said for him. I will probably cry too.

Ouch. Shots are awful! Chris said he used to scream and cry every time he got shots, and finally his mom got so tired of it that she offered him $5 to not cry for his next shot. He said it was one of the hardest things he's ever done, but he got his $5!! Haha.

Poor thing, those bandaids look so big against her tiny little thighs. I'm glad she's doing so well. A healthy baby is a happy baby!
