Homemade Hooded Towel

I made a simple, easy hooded towel for lil' K! Turned out pretty darn cute! You just buy a regular sized towel and a hand towel. Cut the hand towel down to 10 inches, make a hood out of it and sew it to the bigger towel. Hooray! The ones you buy at the store drive me crazy because they are so gosh darn thin, not so soft and small. And the hood is attached to the corner so it doesn't cover up their little body so well on the top. Drove me NUTS! This is the perfect alternative! Soft, big and cozy. And it has a cute pleat on the back! (And it's big enough that she'll be wearing it for years!)

Here's the tutorial I followed!

I had seen the tutorial earlier this week and included it on my blog.....your towel is the first I have seen in stripes (DUH) and it is beautiful! I like it so much better than the plain ones although I have an embroidery machine! Now to go find those striped towels.......
