Kristie turned a month old on Saturday, the 5th. My goodness, where has the time gone?! She's grown up so much already, so we're trying to cherish every moment with her. She's doing this thing lately where it takes her forever to go to sleep after her late night feeding, the last feeding for the day. During the day, she goes to sleep so quickly and easily after eating and sleeps well between feedings at night. But for the last feeding of the day when it's time to officially hit the hay, she takes forever to go to sleep. Any suggestions?

We love sneaking her up to each other from behind. It's pretty much the cutest thing ever to hear her breathing and her little noises right next to your ear. 
We are so grateful to have such a healthy little sweetheart in our lives. We love you Kristie!!

What a doll! You're right-it does go by faster than you can imagine. Don't worry about her clock being turned around; just enjoy that time at night when she's awake and you can snuggle your precious baby. Emily has been out of the snuggling stage for a while now and I miss it. Cherish every moment.
Scrapblog-so you've exported your page as a jpeg and saved it. Now go to the blogspot dashboard, click layout, then click to edit the header. Then click "remove image" to get rid of your old picture and click "browse" then find your page wherever you saved it-it should show up in that window. On that same page for the header there is a place to click either behind or instead of title and description. Be sure to click "INSTEAD". Then click save and it should work. Let me know if it doesn't. Good Luck!

Well we're back from Yellowstone already and I'm sad we didn't get to stop by but I'm really hoping we'll get a chance to see you guys soon and meet Kristie!
It's probably best that we didn't stop by this past week because the campground we we're staying at had NO Showers! Can you imagine?!?
I love all the videos, especially from the 4th, you have such an adorable little family!
She is a very sweet little girl. Do you have a relaxing routine for bedtime? Like bath, getting in pjs, reading a book, sing a song, go to bed, etc. I know that helps a lot. But don't stress too much. Lay her down drowsy but awake. She'll figure it out soon. :-)
Candace...maybe you remember me from back in Mukilteo...Whitni? Anyways, when I was doing the late night feeding thing with my sweet little Asher, I found it helped if that late night feeding was done mostly in the dark, turn a light on out side the room and just open the door a crack so it is really dim, try not to change the dipe unless she is dirty, and try not to make eye contact or chat with her or sing to her...eye contact and your voice is stimulating to her. She may be thinking she just had a good nap and it is time to get up and play but if you make it kind of dark and boring maybe she will stay groggy and slip back to sleep? Sorry if this is all stuff you already know...just ignore me, but if not I hope some of it helps! PS, if you are a Babywiser (I think maybe Char said you are?) she will be sleeping through the night so soon now and then you will drop that late night feeding soon after so if you are not tired and not dying to go to bed, enjoy those late night hours, they don't last long!
