Henry William Frank was born this morning at 8:24 am!! He's 20 inches long and weighs 9.6lbs!! This is Dustin and Camilla's second boy and we are SO excited to meet him! Kristie and I will be hitching a ride with Dad, Ada & Dallin tomorrow night to Utah to go see him. Can't wait!
What a fun, busy day! Kristie's first Easter was a good one! She woke up to her own basket with eggs full of cheerios and a pink bunny. =) We then had church which was wonderful as always. Then we were going to the Duces to spend Easter with them. Before we headed over though, we stopped at my fam's house for a little egg hunting for Kristie. It was super cute of them! At the Duces we had an amazing dinner, Easter baskets, egg hunting, watched the traditional "Lamb of God" movie and had dessert. I've said it before and I'll say it again...we LOVE our families!
Dallin and I took Kristie to a swimming pool for her first time today! It was sooo fun! I had also gotten her a new bathing suit - I think she looks like a little lady in it. So cute! Anyway, she was pretty timid at first. Thank goodness there weren't very many people there or I think she would've freaked out. But the water definitely wasn't as warm as her usual baths, so she had to get used to that first. Then I tried having her float on her back...she did the funny arms-behind-her-head thing that she always does during bath time...totally cracked me up! And that's when she started smiling...probably felt familiar to her. "Oh yeah, I've been in this water stuff before! This is like a big bath tub!"
Just before we left for the pool.
"Woah Mom...what are we doing??"
Annnd, assume the position. Hah! She's so funny!
If you're wondering why we spend so much time with Dallin, it's 'cause he currently isn't working while he's waiting to go on his mission. BUT he did just get a job and starts later this week, so we're going to miss hanging out with him so much during the day!
Man, what an easy-going, fun weekend. We hung out at the Duce's all day Saturday and Sunday watching General Conference, playing games and soaking up some sun in between. (The weather has been SO insanely nice!) Then we had dinner at the Frank's Sunday night and came back to our place and watched "August Rush" eating popcorn, brownies & ice cream. Mmm. Kristie got to see lots of both sets of Grandparents which is SO fun! Goodness, we love family. (All of these pictures were taken on J's phone!)
Jason and I were married December 17th, 2005, Kristie Kay was born on June 5th, 2008 and Joel Wesley was born March 6th, 2011. We are just enjoying our lives together to the fullest!
