Afternoon at Silver Lake

I had forgotten about the park at Silver Lake so Kristie and I went to play yesterday! It's been years since I've been there, so it was fun. During the summer, there's a beach on the lake you can go to to swim - we used to go there a lot when we were kids! I can't wait to take Kristie swimming there this summer. Anyway, she absolutely loved the playground. Then we noticed people feeding ducks down by the water! So we walked down and my heavens, those ducks were not shy! A guy there feeding ducks with his daughter gave us a tortilla to feed the ducks with. (So nice!) So we did and they just walk right up to you! The geese were actually aggressive! If you didn't throw the pieces fast enough, they'd snip it right out of your hands! So they kinda scared Kristie - understandably! I wanted to get pictures of her throwing tortillas at the ducks, but those geese were too quick! haha. Anyway, it was lovely!

We had some way cool clouds yesterday.

Silver Lake - beautiful!

These two ducks kept walking up to Kristie! They were so cute.

This goose was so loud!

Run, run!

My cute birthday husby

Jason turned 26 last Thursday (the 25th) and got to celebrate all weekend! Jason, Kristie & I celebrated the day of, the next day they threw him a party at work, his parents took us out to dinner for his birthday after we went to the Temple, then Monday night we had the birthday party with both fams. So fun! I like spoiling my Jason. Happy birthday dear!

Kristie and I got him a new razor. His last one broke a long time ago, so he's been going without.
I made him a chocolate peanut butter banana cake. Yum! It was chocolate banana cake with chocolate peanut butter frosting.

This was Monday night at the party.

New shirt, pants & a wallet!
I took the video camera away from her and she got upset. I'm such a mean mom.
Aw...
Cute brothers. =)
Jason requested the strawberry cake I made him last year for the party!

Who needs toys?

I'm sure everyone goes through this...but I always feel like Kristie is bored with her toys and that she needs new ones. But she has the most fun with stuff she can find in the kitchen, or stuff about to go outside to the recycling. Haha.

She found new shoes - cake pans.
And a new hat to play peek-a-boo with.
Seeing her walk around like this is such a crack up!

Puzzle & Booster Seat

Kristie's super good at puzzles! She names the shapes while she goes too so it's really cute! Makes her momma proud.

She gets so happy when she's done!

This face just cracks me up!

Guess who's sitting at the table now? She wasn't wanting to sit in her high chair for very long anymore, so we thought we'd try a booster seat. And she loves it!
