"Standing" Up!
We were about to give Kristie a bath, when Jason stood her up and let her hold onto the bathtub. Then he let her go, and she just kept on standing up! She did this for like ten minutes straight! It was so funny...just to see this almost 4 month old with short little legs standing up. Teehee. =)
And here she is, just being herself. My, my what a cutie.

Park, Pretty Dress & Piano
Today we went to the park with Trina & her daughter Melanie! It's so nice to get out and have some girl time. We did some laps around the park while chatting and eating licorice. =) Afterwards Kristie tried a real swing for the first time! Melanie fell asleep, otherwise we were going to put them both in, back to back! Next time, for sure.
In her cute dress for church. (And makin' a weird face.) Starting her early! =)
Daddy showing her to play piano. (She always has such wide eyes when doing something new! haha.)
She was actually hitting more notes before I took this, which is why we were laughing so hard. Too cute though!

Ryan Shupe & the Rubberband Concert
Last night Jason & I left Kristie with babysitters for the first time (Hebers...thanks again!) and went to the Ryan Shupe & the Rubberband concert at BYU-I. Aside from me worrying about Kristie the entire time, we had such a blast! These guys performed at the big Melaleuca Christmas party last year so I had seen them once before but it was a first for Jason. They are so entertaining and so talented! They play like 20 different string instruments and 20 different types of music (that's an exaggerated number) so it's really a good variety of stuff. There's this one part where the 4 of them are standing next to eachother holding their instruments...then they each put their hand on the instrument next to them and do the fingering for the other person and all play at the same time! Kinda hard to explain, but it was awesome. Then the drummer runs up and starts busting up on the violin out of nowhere! Or when the banjo player does a kermit the frog impression, and later does an Aaron Neville impression...hilarious. And yes, they even have a song about corn dogs. They get the entire audience singing along with them and it's pretty much the funniest thing ever. All in all, they were amazing. (I'm almost a hundred percent sure that they're LDS too!) Anyway, I haven't clapped so hard and screamed so loud in a long time!
Click on this link to watch a video of them doing clips from their concert! http://www.shupe.net/videos.php When you get here, scroll down and click on "Promo Video". It shows them doing the cool instrument sharing thing, the Kermit and Aaron Neville impression and even the corn dog song!
During one of the songs he randomly got us all to sing "Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes" so he could video it and put it on YouTube. And he did! Check it out! Jason and I are in there, somewhere in the back. =)
(And apparently Kristie did really well while we were gone!!! Hooray!)

Eastern Idaho State Fair
What an insanely fun day! We headed over to Blackfoot, ID for the fair with Andy & Kela Smith and their daughter Aislyn. We did just about everything! Pet the animals, did remote control car racing, ate lots of delicious fair food (including an elephant ear and a sliced caramel apple) heard the Poison concert (we didn't realize how many of their songs we actually knew!) walked through fancy RV's for sale, and played fair games and won two little stuffed animals for Kristie. We were there for about 7 hours! Kristie and Aislyn did awesome and had tons of fun at their first fair!
And happy 3 months today Kristie!!! She can hold her head up, roll over, vigorously suck her fist and anything you put in front of her mouth, smile, babble and "talk", grab at toys and hold some of them, focus on objects and is even trying to laugh! (Cutest thing ever.) My how much you have grown!!
Aislyn!
It was so fun to see her actually looking at them!
They had dozens and dozens of puppies for sale! I got to hold this little guy. He was like shaking uncontrollably! He was sooooo sweet.
Wooo, what a diva!
Our turn!
Kela and I with the hoodie girls.
Me with a gigantic cow! Can't really tell from this angle, but wow...I had never seen one that huge.
This horse was also gigantic! (Can't totally tell from the pic though...)
Checkin' out the most amazing sewing machine I've ever seen. (Touch screen and everything!)
Passed out in the stroller...even amongst all the noise!
Aw, the fair...
The Smiths
Ready to go home with their prizes!
What a day!
