First Hair Cut!!

My little baby grew up today! She had a baby mullet going, and so it was time to cut it off! I had a trim scheduled, so Kristie came with (along with Leslie & Dev) and Jessica cut hers as well. It was so surreal. Hehe. And she just stood there, not moving an inch! I couldn't believe it! And her hair looks so different and cute, it's ridiculous. =) AW! And of course saved a lock for her scrapbook. What a day!
Notice her hair, past the comb! It was looong.
She was a little confused. =)
All done! And short! She looks sooooo cute.
Hair on the floor...aw.

Whistler Trip!

Well, the second half of our time share this year is over! Aw, it was soooo nice getting away. And this time in the gorgeous snow....it's just so picturesque there, I could just walk around and stare. Since Jason and Ada had to stay home, it was Me, Kristie, Dad, Devin and Leslie. We had a ball! Out to eat, strolling the Village, touring the sliding center (where all the bobsledding, skeleton, and luge will be for the upcoming 2010 olympics), window shopping, ice skating, New Moon seeing, relaxing in the condo, hot chocolate drinking...it was WONDERFUL. In the end though, it was so nice to come back home to Jason...Kristie and I missed him like crazy!

While we were there, we received the exciting news that Jason was offered a position at Emeritus in Seattle as a Staff Accountant!!!!!!!!!!! I am SO proud of my him! Finally getting his big accounting job...we have been waiting for this for a long time! Congrats honey, I love you!!!

First night there - she looks so cute in her winter stuff!

Ice skating!!! They had strollers to use on the ice! How funny!

My little baby's not such a little baby anymore! I think she looks so much like a little kid here!
Love you bro!

Kristie LOVED the snow!

At the Olympic Sliding Center! We watched youth practice going down in the luge, who are going to be in the olympics in 12 years! Crazy!

Favorite place for breakfast! Yummmm...

What a fun trip! For more pictures, click HERE...

Mini Reunion

Got together with some gals in that happened to be in town at the same time! We went to high school together so it was fun to catch up 'cause it's been awhile!

Little K, being shy.

New buddy, Peyton! If only he didn't live in Virginia!

"Where's your toes?"

Take advantage of a sunny day

I don't remember if I've announced this, but Devin & Leslie moved here from Georgia, for GOOD! Dev moved to Georgia (where she is from) when they got married, so it's wonderful having them here in Mukilteo!!! We've been hanging out every single day since they got back. Kristie loves the attention from them. =) One day last week we hit up the Mukilteo beach because it was sunny outside...a little chilly, but SUNNY! A nice break from all the rain. (These pics are from Leslie's camera.)
Cute Unkie Dev & Kristie!
Is this picture perfect or what? I love where I live.
LOVE these two.

Kristie's like "Uhhh, what are you doing?"

Pretty Toes

I was sitting on the floor painting my toes the other day, and Kristie sat down next to me and watched. So I painted hers too...it's been awhile! This time though, she actually sat still and let me paint! It was soooo sweet!

(We're matching.)
And some fun on photo booth. =)

New Keys

I forgot to update on the apartment situation - thanks Kali! So Baycourt is raising our rent if we were to renew our lease at the end of this month. Yuck. We could barely afford what we had in the first place and they were going to raise it to $1100. So we started searching quickly found a 2 bedroom for $900. Also, we get free rent for November & December! Yeah, a little smaller, but it's at Millington apartments in Everett, which are only a few years old and SO nice. Really, really nice. We signed the lease and have the keys as of today!

There are ups and downs to this. We are really comfortable where we are now...our apartment is HUGE and great. We're in my Dad's ward at church and loooove everyone there. I LOVE my calling in Young Womens...it was something I saw myself doing for years and years. And our ward choir is AMAZING. Seriously. We have an amazing director, we do challenging, beautiful songs - I'm really going to miss that. And we just love being in Mukilteo. Such a great town. And we just don't physically feel like packing, cleaning and moving.

But the area we're moving to is a good part of Everett. And we'll be in Jason's family's ward! haha. One fam or the other! I love it. So that'll be fun. And I do love that everything in the apartment is newer & more updated...crown molding, bigger kitchen, lots of nice cabinets, nice fridge, HUGE tub in the bathroom....we'll be able to like it. =) Also, with the free rent in November & December, we'll have some money for Christmas, my birthday and our anniversary - when normally, we just don't have anything for the holidays. So that's definitely a plus.

I just realized I never took pictures of this apartment (in Baycourt)- I will do that to document and so you can see what we'll be missing. =) Then I'll take pics of the new apartment.

For today, you get new Kristie pics. =)

A new love of hers - putting her hat on by herself and keep it on! Wish she would've done this during the summer. Haha.
If I ever leave the pantry open on accident, she get in, pull out the vegetable oil and walk around with it like it's a purse.
This was today during lunch - she was tapping her foot on the table...it was pretty hilarious! Got a video too, I'll put that up sometime!
