Little K found some water on top of the smoothie maker in the dishwasher, and had a ball with it! So cute. She'll show us where her belly button is if we ask her! She'll lift up her shirt and point to it...soooo adorable.
Kristie went on the potty today!!!!!!!! She always has a poopy diaper after breakfast. So I thought, why not stick her on her little potty and see if she'll go there? So, we RAN to the bathroom after we ate, sat her down, pulled out some books and read for like 5-10 minutes. Then I heard her grunting. I literally GASPED and said "Are you pooping?!?!?!" And she did it!!! I was so excited I almost cried! I think I scared her, haha. I kept pointing to it, saying "Look Kristie! You did it!" She didn't want to be anywhere near it. It was hilarious. Then I showed her how we flush it down the toilet. It was all very fascinating. Can't tell you how proud I am of this little 15 month old!!
Jason thought we should celebrate and take her out to Red Robin! So cute. So we did! (She was trying to get the balloon off of her, lol.)
Then we went to Toys R Us for kicks. Kristie went four wheelin'! (Sorry it's sideways...it's worth the head tilt!) We just couldn't believe she was doing this...
Kristie and I went to Baby Storytime at the library!! This was our second time and we just love it. I can't remember if I wrote about the first time, but we sing songs, read stories, blow bubbles, dance...just about everything! Here she is playing with toys at the end...she's definitely the smallest of the bunch (that are her age.)
Then we decided to try on her tutu that I made for Halloween last year. So much more fun this time around 'cause she can actually walk! So cute...
Then I had class tonight where I learned 5 more flowers with royal icing! So fun!
Daisy (love this!)
Victorian Rose (a little bit different from the course 1 rose...)
Today we hung out at Opa & Abue's and had dinner. Always so fun! We also had an iChat with Dev & Les over in Georgia. Then Dad and I made penuche cake together - a family favorite. YUM! Anyway, we just love being over there.
Kristie & Opa found golf balls outside on the lawn, since they live next to the golf course. She loved playing with them. =)
Giving Opa kisses.
LOVE this picture...
Here's a super cute vid of Kristie being super silly. Man I LOVE her!
Yesterday was the Mukilteo Lighthouse festival and we soaked it all up! At 11am was the parade, literally down the street from our apartment. Loved it! Then we went to the beach where the whole festival was - it was HUGE. We met up with the Brower's, got some food, looked at the booths, got ice cream at Woody's, played around and waited for the fireworks to start. I love this firework show 'cause everyone finds a spot on the beach, sitting on logs or chairs and watches the fireworks being shot off a huge barge in the water not too far from us. It was insanely awesome!
Opa bringing Kristie back - she liked walking in the street. =)
Giving kisses to baby Karlie!!
Friday night we went out to eat at AAA Buffet - one of our favorite restaurants! All you can eat chinese....soooo much good food! Kristie ate about 3 bowl fulls of chow mein!
