Jason's 25th!

The husby turned 25 on Wednesday, March 25th! (His golden birthday! I missed mine...it was when I was 10. haha.) He didn't have to work that day so Kristie and I got to play with him all day! We woke up and had some Monkey bread we bought from the store. It was pretty good...not nearly as good as the kind I make on Christmas morning. =) He opened our presents - his new favorite game "Settlers of Catan" and Acqua Di Gio cologne. (Mmmm, my favorite.) 

His party was the next day since we had other commitments on Wednesday. So Thursday both of our families came over for presents and cake! I tried a new cake and it turned out pretty darn yummy. It was a whipped cream & strawberry filled vanilla cake. We all had fun!

It's about time!!

Our little K is finally starting to figure out how to crawl! At last!! I thought this day would never come. =) Still not a complete crawl, but we're just so darn proud that she's at least going forward instead of backward! haha. This literally all happened overnight too. Crazy!

This was from a few weeks ago when we went to Whidbey Island...forgot to post it! We were waiting in the car for the ferry, and she just kept chatting to herself.

Dallin is back home in Washington until he gets his mission call! We are sooo happy to have him around...and so is Kristie! Seriously, she loves this guy. Always smiles and completely herself around him! 

And I had to throw in a cute sleeping picture from earlier this week. Aw!

A Few New Vids

Oh man, this cracks me up. She just started putting her whole mouth on the glass and making funny faces. I love it. 

At 1:01 it sounds like she's speaking Korean or something! Haha.

After waking up from her morning nap. She's always sticking her head up like this now when we come in to get her...so cute!

That's right, ladies night! Kali was in town and we got the three of us together...it's been about three years! Kali's been in Iowa, Me in Idaho and Katie here in WA. Oh MAN did we have fun. It was honestly just like old times. By the time our night was over, my abs hurt from laughing so hard and my cheeks were sore from smiling. Holy cow. We had dinner at my place, escaped off to Henry's Donut (oh the memories) and back to watch Charlie's Angels, Full Throttle. It's one of those dumb movies that you laugh your head off making fun of the whole time. I can't begin to describe how much fun we had. AW!

What a good night!

9 Month Appt.

Kristie had her 9 month appointment yesterday -  went super well! Here are the stats: She weighs 16 pounds and is 26 inches long. That means she gained a pound and an inch in 3 months! Yikes. She's in the 15th percentile for her weight and the 8th percentile for her height. Get this...she's in the 93rd percentile for her head! Woah baby! So she's a little chica with a big cute head. We sure love you Kristie - even if your head is big. 

Homemade Hooded Towel

I made a simple, easy hooded towel for lil' K! Turned out pretty darn cute! You just buy a regular sized towel and a hand towel. Cut the hand towel down to 10 inches, make a hood out of it and sew it to the bigger towel. Hooray! The ones you buy at the store drive me crazy because they are so gosh darn thin, not so soft and small. And the hood is attached to the corner so it doesn't cover up their little body so well on the top. Drove me NUTS! This is the perfect alternative! Soft, big and cozy. And it has a cute pleat on the back! (And it's big enough that she'll be wearing it for years!)

Backwards & Boxes

Still doesn't go forward...just in circles...and backwards. Today she backed into the chair and got stuck! It was pretty cute. =)

Our Weekend

'Twas a fun weekend! I know it's Wednesday, but better late than never. =) Friday night, Blake and John came over to play the Planet Earth DVD game and they brought their Wii system over. We had sugar cookies and a good time! Blake's even being more careful around his niece now! We used to have to watch those two like a hawk. Kristie just kept "talking" to him and wanting to touch him instead of being terrified of him. It was adorable!

Got myself some tulips! Nothing makes me happier than having fresh flowers out on the table with the sun shining through the windows! Awwww. (p.s. we have a good view outside our 3rd floor windows! Gotta love the Washington evergreens!)

Then Saturday we took a ferry ride over to Whidbey Island! (Kristie's first!) We went to Curtis & Linda Kincaid's for dinner and a movie. It was fun to hang with them and their two kids! They are living in THE cutest house too, I have to say. =)
